Furry & Feathered Friends

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

We welcome animal companions at the cottage. If you are seeking treatment with acupuncture, please have your Veterinarian document permission for your pet to receive treatment at the clinic. We also use NMT quite successfully with pets as well. It is non invasive and often quite soothing.

Please be sure to have your furry friend bathed and flea free prior to your visit.

I highly recommend contacting Abigail Dougherty abigail.nmt@gmail.com

for assistance with your furry, feathered or scaley friends.  She is trained in NMT and animal communication.  Here is a message from Abigail:

My mom tells stories about me rescuing “wormies” when I could first toddle. Since then, animals have always been a vital part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both domestic and large game animals in Wyoming. Before I started school, I knew that animals have dignity and animals have the right to respect and proper care. My family and Native American roots have taught and reinforced that message all my life. Today, I am staff to three gorgeous, pampered felines. A really great day for me includes time outside and ample time with animals.

By training, I’m an engineer. Left-brain, hard numbers work was my life for many years in corporate offices. That hard science background was an advantage in both NMT and Tong Ren training. My right-brain work is in understanding animals, both personally and collectively as wonderful creations that enrich our world.

I delight in having the means to communicate with an animal and ask directly what is really going on within their body and their mind. Every time I have the privilege of treating an animal I get to witness how sensitive they are and how eager they are to cooperate to support their optimal well being and to resolve long term behavioral, emotional and physical challenges.

Psst… Don’t tell mom, I still rescue worms, as well as spiders, bees, snakes, etc.!
