"I have studied Chinese Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine for one year and have transferred to the East West College where I am studying to become a Massage Therapist, focusing on the oriental modalities of Shiatsu and Tuina (a form of Chinese therapeutic massage). I wholly appreciate and am profoundly convinced of the healing that occurs when one utilizes therapies that understand the circulation and change of qi and that work with the qi meridian pathways of the body, acupuncture points and tsubos, nutrition, exercise, touch and sleep. My future goals are to engage in somato-emotional healing with others through Massage/bodywork, Shiatsu, and QiGong. I am currently studying to become a teacher of Chinese Soaring Crane Qigong from the TianTian School of Qigong in Seattle . This is considered "medical qigong" and is used in hospitals in China .

Eventually I also plan to become a Nutritional Therapist. and to continue my Qi Gong and Shiatsu education to the furthest extent possible."
